The Institute for Materials Discovery and Design (IMDD), The Jacobs School of Engineering and the Division of Physical Sciences together host the 2023 IMDD Research Summit.
The IMDD is a platform for faculty members with interests in materials science to engage with other researchers and industry across the disciplines focused on materials science and engineering, and to connect their research with applications and with funding opportunities.
The Research Summit will showcase the breadth of IMDD research activities to the broader community of academic, industrial, and government laboratories. This year, the talks will emphasize electronic materials, energy materials, biomaterials, and translational research feeding the startup ecosystem. There will be a student poster session and a reception at the end of the day.
